I am so excited to meet you and tell you a little bit about myself and my healthcare journey. I graduated in 2004, receiving a Specialized Honors Degree in Kinesiology & Health Sciences from York University. After graduation I jumped right into the exercise therapy field and practiced as a Registered Kinesiologist in Ontario for almost 20 years; providing functional & dynamic rehabilitative programs, focusing on core strength, posture, stability, balance, and mobility.
In 2016 I returned to school and received my Diploma in Manual Osteopathic Practice. This is a gentle manual therapy that allows me to offer a more holistic treatment option to my clients, which aides with decreasing pain, improving range of motion, posture correction and improved body function. I have a strong focus on Women’s health, pelvic health, low back pain, neck pain, headaches & Migraines, while calming the nervous system to help the body maintain a neutral state, in which it can heal, repair and move.
My love for animals & personal experience with my Chocolate Lab Mokey, introduced me to the canine rehab world. After taking my senior girl to a chiropractor in Toronto for a year, I witness the benefits of hands on care and exercises for our fur babies aches, pains and overall health & wellness. This fall I am excited to start my studies in Canine Osteopathy at the London College of Animal Osteopathy and provide health services to my clients and their doggies!
I am a mother of two busy kids, and love spending my free time with my husband, son & daughter and new Golden Doodle. My personal experiences and studies help to provide me with the tools to understand each of my clients on a personal level; to recognize their functional movements and offer an individualized wellness prescription to meet their individual goals and create a healthy lifestyle that is easy to achieve and maintain. I can’t wait to heal with you!
